Three months ago, Cyclone Idai devastated Mozambique. Since then, CARE has been responding to the immediate needs of the hardest hit communities, distributing shelter kits, water treatment solutions, and dignity kits for women.
 
 

CARE and its COSACA members carried out the first distribution at an accommodation center housing 37 families

These families were displaced when Kenneth destroyed their homes. More families are expected to arrive at the centre as more houses are collapsing due to excessive moisture. Supplies distributed include: chlorine for water purification, hygiene kits and dignity kits for women and adolescent girls.

She recognizes the importance of providing a good nutrition for her children so that they are able to concentrate at school. 

The video is a call to action petitioning lawmakers in the United States to support the Global Food Security Act of 2015 (H.R. 1567 and S. 1252).
